Have you ever wondered what your superpower is? I reckon everyone has one – but some people just don’t know it yet… So – how can you find out what your “superpower” is?
Well, take a seat, grab a pen and paper and simply write down all the things you enjoy, the things you are good at and the things you do that have an impact.
If you’re still struggling then I’ve put together a list of all the superpowers that we can have – and please note – you are not limited to just one!
- Linguistic Intelligence – Word Superpower
People who develop linguistic intelligence have a greater ability to express themselves well both verbally and in writing. These people are more aware of what others are saying and can understand their viewpoint. The left side of the brain is associated with Linguistic Intelligence.
- Logic Intelligence – Number Superpower
People who have logic intelligence are amazing at numbers and can solve complex problems easily as they use the logical part of their brain more. They can easily divide problems into small chunks and solve them by being organised, methodical and disciplined. The right side of the brain is associated with Logic Intelligence. (I have to admit this one is so NOT me!)
- Kinesthetic Intelligence – Body Superpower
Kinesthetic Intelligence is all about touchy feely! Having a brilliant sense of space, distance, depth and size. These people can perform complex movements with precision and ease. The cerebellum, the portion of the brain that controls voluntary movements of the body, is associated with Kinaesthetic Intelligence. Think about athletes or dancers who have unbelievable coordination and motor skills. I always think about these gymnasts – how do they get their body to do the things they do???
- Spatial Intelligence – Picture Superpower
I have often wondered how some people have THE most amazing imaginations and can create works of art that I would never even dream of!! These people create drawings and images – like architects, and people that create these amazing games and apps. Do you know anyone who has this fantastic ability? – maybe it’s you!
- Musical Intelligence – Music Superpower
Ok, so how many of us would love to be able to sing – actually in tune??
Musical Intelligence is a rare kind of intelligence – so I feel a bit better about singing out of tune!
People with this profile can listen to a sound or a piece of music and identify different patterns and notes with ease and are known as having the “absolute pitch“. A person with musical intelligence can easily create harmonies and songs and can often learn to play an instrument alone from the simple knowledge of theory or by listening to a piece of music.
- Interpersonal Intelligence – people superpower
Are you one of those people who love to get the best from others? Well maybe you have this superpower? Maybe you are a born leader!
These “people” people are practical with a great sense of responsibility. They are calm in their ways, they know how to listen and speak but above all, they know how to use their own knowledge and power to influence others. Someone with Interpersonal Intelligence can easily identify the qualities in others and know how to bring that quality out in the best way possible
- Intrapersonal Intelligence – Self Superpower
Now, for me this is a superpower we all would probably love as this is knowing yourself, inside and out. I reckon people who have this are the ones who get the most admiration as they know EXACTLY who they are and what makes them tick and – to be honest – don’t need any recognition or acceptance elsewhere. Who wouldn’t want this one?
