Hi all
I was just reminiscing about the things that have happened in my life, and one thing that really sticks in my mind is being pregnant with my twins!
The weeks leading up to the birth were simply crazy. I was so big and it was all a waiting game… If you’re a mother and happened to have been overdue even for one day, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.
As well as being grumpy and hating the question “Any news?” with a vengeance, my personality somehow also started to change.
Tidying up drawers, decluttering and washing floors became sooo attractive!
Doing anything other than work was the new norm.
So yes. To sum up, procrastinating became a way of life…
Luckily, that only lasted a few weeks. The moment my boys were born, I got the fire in my belly back and I felt like myself again. Now I look back on this time with fondness in my heart and oh wasn’t it all worth it!
But you know when else I procrastinated a lot?
When I started my business.
The cycle of overworking – procrastination – overworking – procrastination was continuous and it practically haunted me (with very few results, I should add).
But here’s the thing with procrastinating. We can only do it when we lack alignment.
When we feel passionate about what we do, when we 100% believe in our goals, when we’re clear on how to produce the impact we want, we simply lose the ability to put things off.
Instead?
We MOVE.
We ACT.
We create results, we make an impact and we incite miracles.
And most importantly, from it all we GROW!.
So you think you need accountability to get results?
You don’t!
Certainly not as much as you need alignment. A clear plan. Confidence.
Inspiration is the remedy for any form of procrastination. Period.
So stop!
Take a moment to breathe and focus on making your goals clear.
Decide on how you’re going to make these dreams a reality and begin!
Write it down, take action and start to see the results unfold before you.
I’ve been there and succeeded, and so can you!!!
