In this article, you will find a piece of information that may unlock some hidden potential within you. While it’s no secret, it’s likely to be so simple that couldn’t believe you hadn’t thought of it before. In fact, you may already know all about it! For starters, think about how far you’ve come in your life. Reminisce on your bad days, struggles, and hardships that you’ve fought through. How did you get past your troubling times? Would you agree that you possess something that allows you to make the cut as a survivor—as a fighter? (Well, you’re reading this, so I think it’s safe to say you’re a tough cookie!)

Humans are capable of doing what seems like the impossible. From lifting a car single-handedly, to enduring below freezing temperatures with minimal layers of clothing, there’s something in particular that human feats have in common. You learned how to ride your bike, learned how to tie your shoes, and some of us have even climbed to the summit of Mount Everest! But each one of those successes, no matter how small or large, at some point felt like the hardest thing in the world for us. However, that’s not the one thing they all necessarily had in common. In fact that one common variable that’s so great—so mind bogglingly simple, is that they were all merely backed by some amount of belief, and/or self-belief to be exact.

That belief, while it may not have been present in the individual taking part, could have been felt within the supporter(s). In turn, supporters often give their hero a dosage of self-belief to knock out the obstacle before them. Here, two significant things are proven:

  1. No matter how much you believe, even the smallest ounce within yourself can help you achieve your dreams.
  2. Even if you don’t believe in yourself, as long as there is someone else who does, you’ll gain hope, and feel as if you actually are capable of accomplishing your goal.

At this realization, anything else becomes unnecessary. There’s a saying that goes, “If you don’t believe in yourself, then who will?” Well, there’s bound to be someone out there if you’re like most of us, right? But what if you’re not? In that case, if no one else believes in you, then who will? Will you? Take a minute to think about that. Just because the world says you can’t do something, it has nothing to do with whether or not you can do it. It all starts and begins within your own mind. And even when you think you have no hope at all, most certainly there is a tiny glimmer floating around, waiting to bloom so that you will achieve whatever it is you are trying to do.

Read the following statement aloud:

“If I can control my thoughts, I can control anything.”

One must truly understand the power within that simple sentence. It literally says, “I am in control of everything, if I can control myself/what happens in my head.” It’s as simple as that.

The best part? The proof is out there in textbooks, experiments, and walking individuals. People like Tony Robbins, or Tai Lopez are capable of influencing masses because of their belief in themselves, others, and their causes of helping other people.

This belief has everything to do with the state of your life—your confidence, self-value, and your overall happiness.

Confidence is your message to the world, of how you see yourself. If you don’t have enough, it’s typically noticeable, unless you’re a master at hiding that type of thing. The best way to increase your confidence is to find ways to be happy with yourself in a positive manner. In other words, finding a true solution to your problem. If you don’t quite have 6-pack abs, then ideally you would focus on exercising that area. Perhaps you may need to revamp your entire image because you’re not fond of anything about yourself. Once again, it starts with believing in yourself. Believe that you are either fine the way you are, or you are capable of making the changes necessary to become what you wish to be.

The more positivity you believe in, the more positivity finds its way into your life.

Another point worth mentioning is that self-belief also stems into your self-value. As an entrepreneur—or even as an average worker, it is crucial to know your value. As a family member and friend, you are worth something to others. As a human, you are worth something to the world. If you’re at an unhappy job and know you could be doing so much better, then why are you settling for less?

If you’ve ever offered your talent or services to someone in order to be paid, then you’ve probably at some point undervalued yourself and your work (your time!). The thing is, if you can sell yourself for as much as you think you’re worth. You just have to show people why you think they should pay that much for you and your time. In other areas of life, this same concept applies.

If you’re so confident in yourself, and a firm believer that you’re capable of achieving whatever you put your mind to, then you have to convince people why this is so, unless you’re in a place where you have no concern about the thoughts of others. (A great stance!)

With belief, humans have conquered hundreds of issues that have arisen. In most circumstances, we’ve come out on top, in part to our belief in ourselves, or others believing in us. Either way you look at it, as long as it’s there, self-belief can take you far, and keep you positive when negativity seems to be drowning you out. It doesn’t even matter if you just believe in yourself a tiny bit.

Thank those who do you the favour of believing in you. But now is the time you use this knowledge to your benefit.

Don’t be so dependent upon others, but rely on yourself.

Believe in you.
